Olympics are over.

Having spent most of the olympics with my fingers in my ears, eyes close going 'La la la la la'. I was surprised, when I came to look at the final tally, to learn that Great Britain came third. Third! I'm not sure this is real anymore.
GB was beaten by China in second place and the United States in first, which is fair enoguh, I mean; those 2 countries are massive. They have a huge pool of athletes to create their olympic team from, it made sense that they won, but GB is tiny, it's a tiny little island in europe and it won 29 gold medals, 17 silver medals and 19 bronze medals, making 65 medals, only USA (104), China (88) and Russia (82) got more medals altogether.

I'm a little stunned that we did so well, I mean... we don't do sport good.

Congratulations to all of the people involved in the olympics, I mean, seriously; you did amazing things. Good Luck for the next events you do.

Not a long post, hopefully I'll have a lot to talk about tomorrow.
