The Deconstructive DM

So I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with this Blog, but in the meantime, while I try to make a decision I thought I'd share with everyone the new youtube channel of a friend of mine.

It's called The Deconstructive DM and he's just posted his first video!
The premise of the channel is that he takes pop culture stories and deconstructs them into Table Top RP plots.
These plots are grab and go, letting DMs play out their favorite TV scenarios and encouraging new DMs with easy to use material that they're already comfortable with.

For his first video he's taken the 3rd issue plot of the comic, Transmetropolitan entitled 'Up on the roof' and transformed it into a one shot with that can work for any tabletop roleplaying game you want.
He starts the deconstruction off with any requirements that the narrative might have for your campain and then with Google Docs' simple find and replace tools you can set it up for your next game in a matter of minutes, all you need to do is add level appropriate enemies that fit your game world.

It's a great idea and a great start to a new channel.

Check out the Transmetropolitan vid at The Deconstructive DM and tell him I said Hi!
